What is culture? It is not a easy thing to define. The 1952 book Culture: A Critical Review of Concepts and Definitions compiled no less than 164 different definitions of culture. Of all the myriad of definitions these are likely as good as any:
Culture is roughly anything we do and the monkeys don't.
