Imamiya Ebisu Shrine (affectionately known as Ebessan by Osaka locals) is a small shrine that really comes to life every year during it's Toka Ebisu festival in early January (~ one million visitors).
Admission is free and there is some interesting lore surrounding Imamiya Ebisu Shrine. It was once a shrine for fishing but is now a shrine for commerce. It was built on this spot because it was felt that bad spirits were coming from the direction of its location.
