Tōdai-ji is the most famous and popular Buddhist temple complex in Nara Japan. It is one of Nara's UNESCO World Heritage sites and it's Great Buddha Hall is the largest wooden building in the world. The Great Buddha Hall contains a huge bronze Buddha (Japanese Daibutsu 大仏). The Daibutsu is 15 metres high and weights 500 tons.
