Yen Introduction

The yen(円) is the currency of Japan. It is the third most exchanged currency in international foreign exchange markets.

Japanese do not use decimal points in counting money. The yen is the lowest value possible in Japanese currency.

The Japanese do not typically count money in multiples of hundreds but in multiples of 10,000 (man).
