Impressions

I went to the Yebisu Garden Place. There is a long covered walkway to this area. There is a skyscraper surrounded by a large square that has various buildings related to the sapporo beer company such as a beer garden. Very pleasant place but it almost looks suburban ... it is just planned out too well ... there is not much original about this particular corner of Yebisu.

There are a few attractions around Yebisu Garden Place: 1. Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography (東京都写真美術館). A huge exhibition of world and japanese photography. 2. Beer Museum (麦酒記念館): describes the brewing process and the history of Sapporo Breweries. Sapporo makes Asahi, Sapporo and Yebisu brands of beer. Open from 10 AM to 6 PM and its free! You can sample four beers at the end for ¥400. 3. Ebisu Garden Cinema is a medium sized complex (by japanese standards) with two theatres.

Advice

Try the beer garden ...you can't miss it .. it is a large brick building in the middle of the square. It can get busy .. arrive early. Not sure if they accept reservations .. probably.
