Advice

Check out the Imperial Palace if you are in the area. If you like architecture there are many interesting buildings in this area. There are some super expensive looking restaurants in the park. If you have the time and budget check them out ... although they may require reservations .. although they were empty when I walked by at 9 pm on a friday.

Details

There is a huge square in the center of the park and many music stages here and there. There are lots of nice trees including an exhibit of trees from different regions of Japan. There are some ponds and you might see a big frog or two hopping around.

Impressions

Hibiya park was establish in 1903. Before that it was used by the military as a training ground. The location of the park is in the heart of government. There are many government buildings in the area including the ministry of finance etc.. It is also close to the Imperial palace. The park is very quiet and the contrast between the nature of the park and the background of the city is stunning. I recommend visiting if your in the area.
