The building has a nice location very close to setagaya station.

I stayed here for just two months because I had trouble with the neighbours. There was an old guy that lived in that apartment for 7 years or something. The building had concrete construction on the exterior but the interior was just thin dry wall. I could hear everything the old guy did all day and visa versa. Basically we drove each other crazy. I mean you can hear if he opens a beer ... thats how well the sound travelled. My neighbour on the otherside tended to stay up all night ... but I worked from 9AM ... so there was a little conflict there too. But she was nice .... actually ... everyone was nice .. it was just the situation that sucked. The shared bathroom was filty too. It was a pain that the shower was coin operated.

It was my first and last experience living with a shared bathroom. I don't really recommend it ... but some people make it work for years. I wish gaijins would at least take responsibility and keep the bathrooms clean ... sakura house should have done something about this too!
