morineko3's answer Aikiko was invented by Morihei Ueshiba and is heavily influenced by Jujitsu and Kenjutsu. Aikido places great importance on fluidity of movement and using an opponents force against them. There are various schools of Aikido such as Aiki-Budo, Yoseikan, Yoshinkan, Aikikai and Iwama-ryu. |
