Making a living from cosplay

I am curious if anyone on here was able to make a living from skills related to cosplay ... such as being a costume design for movies etc...

not me

not me but my friend is a professional costume designer. She started out with an interest in cosplaying. But its not like cosplaying lead to that career. She needed to study dress making etc.. in college.
