Australia uses the dollar and has 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2 coins along with $5 (purple), $10 (blue), $20 (red), $50 (yellow) and $100 notes (green). The notes are made of a hard-wearing plastic (you can wash the notes!), which is far more difficult to forge based on a technology developed in Australia.
