Kogal have tanned skin and dyed hair (usually a gold brown), they wearing colorful clothing, too much makeup sometimes to the point of looking like clowns. They seem to like cute things and often have stuffed animals hanging from their Keitai.

Kogaru are most often seen around Shibuya especially in McDonalds, pirikura or anywhere else where they can sit for hours on end without spending too much money.
