A subculture is a distinct culture within a country or across borders that has no ethnic background.

For example, punk is a subculture.

Subculture is people who do not belong to the culture of their country but have a distinct culture of their own.

It is usual youth who perpetuate subculture though a unique interest in fashion, music or politics.
