I have heard that the team is cursed? Is that true? Why?

Yeap there is some kind of curse on the team since their 1985 Japan Series win. Some fans were celebrating and threw a colonel sanders statue from KFC into a Dotonbori Canal in Osaka. Since they did not win another championship until 18 years later in 2003. Perhaps they have appeased the KFC gods somehow.
